A Humble Family Venture in the Bush
We are a small-scale Australian family outfit dedicated to private gold prospecting. Unlike major mining operations, we work quietly on internal projects. This website serves as a simple landing point for general enquiries and to provide a brief background on our family's private work.

Exploration Area
Yeltco Pty Ltd proposes a structured five-year exploration program within the historic Castlemaine Goldfield targeting
orogenic gold and associated silver, with a strong focus on economically viable deep lead alluvial systems and overlooked shallow deposits; the program begins with comprehensive desktop studies and GIS integration of historical mining data, followed by field verification, low-impact costeaning, and preliminary gold assessment using panning and detecting, progressing to bulk sampling and test processing to determine grade and recoverability, and, where warranted, advancing through staged drilling, resource evaluation, and 3D geological modelling to assess continuity, volume and economic potential, Throughout all stages, activities will prioritise minimal environmental disturbance, progressive rehabilitation, regulatory compliance, and strong
community and stakeholder engagement, with the overarching objective of identifying and developing a sustainable and
commercially viable gold operation if supported by exploration results.
Yeltco Pty Ltd – Exploration Licence Applications EL008943 & EL008959
Proposed Program of Work:
Yeltco Pty Ltd has applied for Exploration Licences EL008943 and EL008959 within Victoria for the purpose of mineral exploration.
The proposed exploration activities are intended to assess the geological potential of the licence areas and may include:

Geological mapping and desktop studies;

Surface sampling and field inspections;

Minor low-impact exploration activities;

Geophysical surveys;
-
Soil and rock sampling; and
-
If warranted and separately approved, limited shallow drilling programs.
All exploration activities will be staged progressively and undertaken in accordance with all relevant Victorian legislation, licence conditions, land access requirements, and environmental obligations.
No large-scale mining operations are proposed as part of these applications.
Management of Community and Environmental Impacts
Yeltco Pty Ltd is committed to conducting exploration activities responsibly and respectfully, with consideration for local landholders, occupiers, the broader community, and the environment.
The company’s management systems and commitments include:

Minimising disturbance to farming operations, infrastructure, stock, vegetation, and access tracks;

Consulting with landowners and occupiers prior to undertaking any ground disturbing activities;

Rehabilitation of any disturbed areas as soon as practical following works;

Compliance with all environmental, cultural heritage, and safety requirements;

Managing dust, noise, weeds, and biosecurity risks during exploration activities; and

Undertaking works in accordance with approved work plans and Victorian regulatory requirements.

Community Consultation – Section 39A MRSDA
Yeltco Pty Ltd acknowledges its obligations under Section 39A of the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act 1990.
The company intends to meet these obligations by:
